TITANIC WORLD TOUR AUSTRALIA

The museum company Musealia in San Sebastian, Spain has been on the road with artifacts from the Titanic and Olympic for over 20 years. The company organizes touring exhibitions. Their collection of artifacts has been displayed in several major cities around the world, including London and New York (on 6th Avenue in Manhattan). That collection was recently in Seattle for a few months and is now at the Museum of Civilization in Quebec, Canada (until March 8).
The museum company realized that the success of these representations with hundreds of thousands of visitors – had to be expanded. The collective of historians continued their relentless search for Titanic artifacts by all means and managed to form a 2nd collection. Their new exhibition target: Australia! In the course of these searches through museums, private collections, auctions, they discovered my cartoons about the ship on the Internet, gathered in the series “Titanic”. They said to themselves, “We can’t take on something like that, because our performances are extremely serious.” The curator of the exhibitions is the renowned Swedish historian and collector Claes-Göran Wetterholm.
On April 29, 2024, Musealia sent me an email requesting to purchase three works from the London and New York series – being perfect illustrations for the Edwardian era – to be displayed within the new exhibition “Titanic. The Human Story” in the inaugural sector, “Historical Context”. Since then, my works have been viewed by several hundred thousand visitors in long-term performances (approximately 6 months each) in Brisbane, Sydney and are now in Perth.
